We watched agencies get paid to look good. Not to make clients grow — just to look good. Beautiful decks. Vanity metrics. Templates with the logo swapped. Clients trained to feel stupid so they'd stay dependent.
We quit. Together. And we started the agency we wished existed — one that says the uncomfortable thing, uses zero templates, and reports on the metrics that actually matter to the person paying the bill.
We took three clients in year one. That was deliberate. Quality of thinking scales badly; we're not going to pretend otherwise.
